This is a Club for those who are interested in Bookmen from the series D.Gray-Man by Katsura Hoshino.

I founded it because I wanted to create a place not only for those who are interested in "Lavi", but also in that what Lavi does and in what he was (and actually still is) before he became an Exorcist.
This club is also for those who love Bookman and are interested in Bookmen in general. There are so many unanswered questions regarding that topic ... I think it's kinda fascinating, so I'd like to share thoughts and theories about Bookmen and all the things that are related to the topic <3

Wow, it has been exactly a month since the last entry.
I want to apologize, because I didn't had much time for the club the last few weeks.
My laptop is still broken and so I won't have much time the coming weeks neither, but I'll try my best >0<
Okay, we have 30 members now >w<

Thanks to *Himbeerschnee who took care of the club while I couldn't <3

If you want to become a member please send a note with the title "Join" ^_^!

Please make also sure to watch the club and add our icon to your journal!



- Submissions -

If you want to have a picture of your gallery added to the club's you must:

- be a member of this club
- send a note with "Submission" as title
- write in your Artist's comment of the picture that the Bookmen Club is allowed to submit it

The club will submit pictures with the following content only:

- OC Bookmen
- pictures of Bookman
- pictures of Lavi and Bookman
- pictures that show Lavi in a way that makes sure it is bookmen related in some way
(for example: Lavi with a pile of books next to him etc ..)
- pictures of Lavi before he became an Exorcist

“Who is the Bookman?”

The Bookman is a spectator to history, and its chronicler. He records the secret history of the world and passes it on to future generations.

The Bookman’s role was to travel to every place in existence, lingering in no one location, but wandering, to emblazon history on his vision and record what he’d seen.

“What must a Bookman be like?”

He must not become attached or be controlled by emotion. He speaks with all kinds of people, then leaves as if nothing has happened.

Emotion was unnecessary to chroniclers. They need only record things as they are, without getting their emotions mixed in.

“I will ask you this once. Who are you?”

The Bookman’s successor. I take on a new name each time I go somewhere new, and discard it each time I leave.
